The Quantum P ploidy analyzer can easily and accurately measure the DNA content of plant or animal nuclei to determine ploidy or genome size. A Quantum P equipped with a UV-LED can determine the ploidy of DAPI-stained nuclei and, when also equipped with a blue laser, it can measure the DNA content and ploidy of PI-stained nuclei. The Quantum P’s wide dynamic range PMTs produce high resolution DNA content measurements over a wide array of genome sizes, which is particularly useful when testing multiploid species. Quantum P high-throughput acquisition & analysis.
The optional high-throughput plate sample automation can run up to 600 samples per hour from 24, 96 and 384 well plates or 24 (3.5 ml) tube racks. CyPAD® software provides for fully automated sample acquisition and ploidy analysis. The low sample cross-contamination (<0.1%) allows for rapid throughput with minimal sample contamination.
