Description
To get good data from a flow cytometer, it must be properly maintained. This includes the replacing of worn parts, the cleaning of the optical components and the adjusting of the alignment of the flow cell and light sources. QuantaCyte recommends that preventive maintenance be performed on a flow cytometer annually. For flow cytometers that are used heavily (i.e.: thousands of samples per week), it is recommended that preventive maintenance be performed twice per year.
QuantaCyte Preventive Maintenance includes all travel, labor and parts required for the maintenance service. Maintenance parts include all tubing, O-rings and in-line filter. Parts needed to repair the flow cytometer, such as valves, flow cell, sample port, lasers and computer, are not included.
